MUMBAI: To celebrate the 81st birthday of the legendary singer and nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar on 28 September, Shemaroo Entertainment launches a repertoire of her works for her fans.

Shemaroo offers Best of Lata Mangeshkar (12 VCDs Pack) which includes most of the popular songs crooned by the singing Diva like 'Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya..'(Mughal-E-Azam) and Bindiya Chamekegi..(Do Raaste) among others. It is priced at Rs 499.

The other titles, The Immortal Collection: Lata Mangeshkar (6 VCD Pack) and Ultimate Unremix : Lata Mangeshkar (2 DVD  Pack) are both feature solo songs by the singer and are priced at Rs 299 each.

Single VCDs and DVDs like Magic Duets, Sargam ke Saathi, Queen of Melody Lata Mangeshkar, Bhakti Ke Rang Lata Ke sang, Lata Mangeshkar and Golden Collection features a series of her solos and her duets with Kishore Kumar and Mohammed Rafi among others.

Lata Mangeshkar, started her career at the age of 13, where she entered the industry as a child artiste and singer. Soon her career graph took an upswing and she ruled the industry from 1950s to 1990s. She is the second vocalist ever to have received the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour.
