MUMBAI: Talented bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan has her plate full for the next couple of months with bollywood projects, reality shows and concerts.

The vivacious singer will lend vocals for Shirish Kunder's second directorial venture ‘Joker’.  The soundtrack of the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, nephew of noted composer, AR Rahman. The music album also includes vocals of renowned Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi and Sonu Kakkar.

Recently, the songstress has also rendered an item number ‘Halakat Jawani’ composed by Salim – Sulaiman for Madhur Bhandhakar’s highly anticipated movie ‘Heroine’.

Speaking about the single, Chauhan said, “It’s a nice fun-filled song, Salim-Sulaiman has done a great job with the composition. The music brings out the flavour and theme of the movie. It was great fun.”

The talented singer has also rendered a  track ‘Mohe Raat Ko Neend’ for an upcoming film ‘Yeh Saali Khushi,’ which has been composed by Siddharth and Sangeet Haldipur. The brotherly-duo has earlier composed two tracks ‘Aa Zaara’ and ‘Tujhko Bhulana’ from Murder 2.

“Siddharth and Sangeet are a very talented duo; I had sung one of their compositions Aa Zaara from Murder 2, which has been well appreciated by people. But it’s unfortunate that people don’t recognize the composer. I think such talented artistes should be given a chance to showcase themselves so that people can recognize them and their talent,” she expressed.

Apart from bollywood projects, Chauhan is also busy judging talents on the sixth season of reality show Indian Idol. Accompanied by Salim Merchant and Anu Malik, the singer is looking forward to shortlists India’s singing gems. “The sixth season of Indian Idol aims to be bigger and better wherein the only priority will be music. This season we have witnessed immense talent and it’s really difficult for all three of us to choose the best. We just hope that we do our best by selecting the best singing sensations and give them a platform to showcase their talent.”

In midst of bollywood projects and talent shows, Chauhan will also perform a concert on 23 – 24 June 2012 in Australia. The two-city tour will take place at Palais Theatre (Melbourne) and Challenge Stadium (Perth) respectively. The singer will perform her popular chartbusters at the concert.
