BANGLORE: Sunil Kumaran has been appointed the Cluster Head of Big 92.7 FM for Karnataka & Kerala.

Kumaran comes with over 14 years of media experience in strategic media planning & buying functions in India and in the Middle East. In his new role as cluster head, Kumaran will overlook the entire Stations functioning along with cluster responsibilities for Karnataka & Kerala.Speaking about the appointment Big FM south regional director Sabita Kath said, We are very happy to have a media veteran on board with us. With his vast experience, he is sure to add value to this organisation especially in the RAM listed market of Bangalore.

Commenting on his appointment, Kumaran said, We have a great product to offer and the challenge that the Bangalore market poses for me is very exciting. We have some very talented people on board, and together with the entire team, we are confident that we will continue to put up a great show, as has been done thus far.

Kumaran started his career as a marketing executive but quickly moved his focus toward the media industry. He has worked across agencies like HTA, Lintas, Rediffusion and handled clients across categories which include P&G, Titan, Tata Tea, Bajaj Auto, Heinz, Parle Products etc. Prior to joining Big FM, Kumaran was the media head for Universal Media in Bahrain.
