Swedish House Mafia's (SHM) final world tour to hit Mumbai, Delhi

MUMBAI: Ending their long term association on a musical note, Electronic Dance Music (EDM) heavyweight Swedish House Mafia (SHM) will perform in India, as a part of its final world tour 'One last'.
Commencing from16 November at Dubai, the band will perform in Mumbai and Delhi on 17 and 18 November as part of Sunburn Arena. Both cities will be a part of first leg of SHM's world tour which will also cover South Africa and Russia for the first time.
The Grammy nominated and club hit producing band will also release its second compilation album and the official soundtrack of the tour 'Until Now' on 19 October. The album enlists 22 tracks including global club anthems like 'Don't You Worry Child', 'Every Teardrop is a Waterfall', 'Calling', 'In My Mind', 'Lights' and 'Euphoria'. The previously unreleased tracks will be included as the template set list for the tour.
Speaking about their India tour, SHM member Steve Angello said, "We are extremely excited to connect with our fans in India and the country was a strong contender on our touring calendar. In fact Axwell has been telling us for years to visit India for its vibrancy when it comes to dance and music. This is going to be our last tour to India for the very first time and we are hoping you are ready."
The band comprising of three House Djs and producers- Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso announced their break-up on 24 June 2012. Organized by Submerge and Sunburn, the companies anticipate to witness up to 20,000 people at both venues. The tickets for the concerts would go on sale from 8 October.
Commenting on the tour, Submerge Director & Festival Director Sunburn Nikhil Chinapa said, "When the Swedes announced they were disbanding they broke a billion hearts across the world and in India too. For all of India's dance music fans, the One Last Tour is going to be your last chance to see and hear the Swedes together. Their music has brought people of different backgrounds together in a way that's impossible to describe."
The tour will hit North America from February 2013 where the band will again play at New York's Madison Square Garden as well as a night at the Barclay Center.
