MUMBAI:Songs from Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s soont-to-release film, `Sawaariya` will be exclusively played on Big 92.7 FM starting 21 September 2007.The radio station and the music label have come together for what`s touted to be the most awaited album of the year.

Big FM has tied up with Sony BMG, after similar exclusive tie ups with big titles like Ta Ra Rum Pum, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and Cash earlier this year.

The station plans to carry out a lot of promotional activities. Big FM plans to interview the movie`s stars Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, as well as their star parents, Anil Kapoor and Neetu and Rishi Kapoor respectively. A lot of on ground activities involving the stars will be carried out across the country, in all the cities Big 92.7 FM has its presence.

Big FM has always followed the theme of the movie keeping the story line in mind. This time too they plan to introduce a contest, `Anokhi love story` where listeners can call and tell the RJ and the celebrity their love story. The winners would get to meet the stars of the movie.

Since Saawariya is a period film, the station plans to incorporate that theme too, and plans to give away the costumes used in the film to its listeners as prizes.

Sawaariya has some fantastic soundtracks. It will surely be a hit. The stars are young and vibrant; both of them will be superstars for sure. Our marketing plan gives the movie a lot of scope to reach a large audience through out the nation."Sony BMG India managing director Shridhar Subramaniam says, "Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s trademark cinematic style, Monty`s exceptional music and Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor`s smashing debut makes it a really special project. Big 92.7 FM`s innovative programming and promotional activities coupled with its widespread reach, will add a lot of value to the project by bringing excitement to music listeners all over."
