Universal Music to release official Cricket World Cup album on 10 Feb

MUMBAI: Universal Music India will release the official tournament album for the cricket World Cup on 10 February. The album is called �De Ghumake'.

The album is led by the official World Cup song of the same name by the Bollywood music directors, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The rest of the album boasts of a mix of international hits from the likes of Enrique Iglesias, Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna, Lady Gaga as well as artists providing a local flavour, such as AR Rahman.

The official song is performed in three different languages, Hindi (sung by Shankar Mahadevan), Bangla (sung by Raghab Chatterjee) and Sinhalese (sung by Ranidu Lankage), reflecting languages of the three host countries.

Universal Music India enjoys worldwide rights for this album and will be releasing it on 10 February. The album will be available in retail stores across Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka and on Hungama's website.

The album is packed with hits, both international and Hindi, which set the mood for celebrations. The accompanying DVD makes �De Ghumake', the album, a true collector's pack for all cricket lovers across cricket-playing nations. Universal Music will release the physical album and the online version of the title track on all leading portals across the globe....
