Usher to launch album with live stream concert

MUMBAI: Grammy award winning rapper Usher is all set to launch his seventh album ‘Looking 4 Myself’ by streaming a live concert from London on 11 June at the Hammersmith Apollo, London.
The rapper will perform tracks from his new album and the concert will be shown live on his YouTube Vevo channel across the globe, as part of the popular live stream music series ‘American Express Unstaged’.
Fans across the world can ‘take the stage’ with Usher by virtually creating a customized digital dancer featuring some of the singer’s best choreographed dance moves.
The album comprises of tracks like ‘Climax’, ‘Scream’ and the Rick Ross assisted ‘Lemme See’ with appearances from Pharrell, A$AP Rocky and Luke Steele.
Usher said, “I am excited to introduce my new album ‘Looking 4 Myself’ with a worldwide performance in such an innovative way. It’s very exciting to interact with my fans from a global stage through ‘American Express Unstaged’s live stream. Using the cutting-edge ‘take the stage’ technology will allow my fans to join me virtually through their dancing avatars on stage.”
The album will release on 12 June across US.
