MUMBAI: Kashmiri pop singer, Xenia Ali has tied up with T-series for the launch of her second album `Xemix.`

At the launch Xenia Ali said, "Xemix` is her mix, her style of rendering all time favourites in her own unique manner. Taking utmost care not to spoil, the soul and the essence of these melodies. The styling of each song is completely different from the usual remixes, which are churned out here and there in the market.

Ali added, "While I was working on my next original CD, which I plan to release mid 2007, I decided to add to the holiday spirit and mood with `Xemix` rocking tracks. I hope the youth of today are able to appreciate these already accepted melodies, and yet again, fall in love with these songs in a different way. The Xemix way! A humble effort to make today`s youth understand and respect our heritage and culture the way it should be. And being in the media, it`s our responsibility to put it across in a nice manner"

Ali draws inspiration from musical legends like Lata Mangeshkar , Asha Bhonsle , Farida, Khannum, Mussarat Nazir and Abida Praveen. She made her debut with the album `Meri Ada` on Times Music.
