Zee Kannada announces fourth season of 'Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa'

BANGALORE: Zee Kannada has announced the fourth season of its talent hunt reality show Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa. This season, like the immediate previous one, will be called Lil Champs and is aimed at children between the age group of seven and 12 years.

The new season starts on 12 April. Miditech Bangalore is the production house for the programme.
Some of the other reality shows/talent hunts that have been driving Zee Kannadas growth are Gold Rush and Komedy Khiladigalu. The channel claims that the third season of Lil Champs garnered the highest ratings in the south Indian GEC space on weekends when it was broadcast.

The first season of Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa was for singers of all age groups while the second season was for housewives. The third and the most popular by far was Lil Champs.

Initially, Zee Kannada had considered the fourth season for senior citizens, but the popularity of the initial edition of Ll Champs changed that, according to industry sources.

The title or anchor sponsor for the three previous seasons of Zee Kannadas Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa has been Garnier Fructus. The title sponsors for the fourth season are yet to be revealed. Some of the other advertisers on the show include HUL, Jyoti Labs, Tata Tea, Ricket Benkeizer and GSK.
