Jeeturaaj - Going gaga over BWSL

oh c'mon, get into the groove - it's the bandra worli sea link, dude! it's astonishing....it's wonderful.....and it's wrooooom....yeah…'cause it goes wrooom in ur �gaddee' - it's sheer magic man….It's like a dream come true for lakhs of Mumbaikars and even those who frequent Mumbai regularly from cities not far off like Pune, Nashik etc who could have been travelling on that route for God knows how many years now. Just imagine yaar, a road that keeps one caught in traffic for more then half an hour suddenly becomes a six or seven minutes' route...if this is not magic then what is....think about it....
But for jeeturaaj of Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM mumbai, it became a little extra magical. Or so I'd want to believe. Why you may ask...ok ask...I'll answer....dude, they invited Jeeturaaj over for a special visit to the site much before it actually opens for public usage and that's why the extra magical feeling.
The entire bwsl team was moving up and down with Jeeturaaj! Yeah, small mercies...thanks to the traffic updates that we keep doing on our 'hi mumbai' show every morning Monday through Saturday, 7 am through 11 am on Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, it's hot! Man, it pays to be on radio, they pampered me every moment telling me every possible detail connected with what went into making that lovely Bandra Worli sea link. In fact, a special drive through a car while the labourers are still busy giviing finishing touches to the sea link. Now, here's when I felt slightly more important then the prime minister of India. Why, did I hear you ask? Arrey baabaa, coz Jeeturaaj was on that sea link before him naa! It's rumoured that the PM is gonna innaugurate the sea link....Fun naa.....
If you don't ascribe much importance to the 50/ rupees one way toll ( this is what's being tossed as the toll tax - not confirmed yet) then it's a great ride. Just one more step in the direction of making India come closer to what's happening all over the world, right! Oh sorry in Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM terminology, it's hot wid Jeeturaaj.......
