NCPA Umang Series - Bharata Natyam Recital by Radica Giri. Radica Giri underwent her early training under K. J. Sarasa, the doyenne of the Vazhuvoor style of Bharata Natyam. She later explored the possibilities of other dance banis by training in the Kalakshetra and Pandanallur styles of dance and in 2006 established the Anjali Dance School in Saratoga. She has performed at prestigious fora in the country including Mylapore Fine Arts, Brahma Gana Sabha, Bharat Kalachar, India Habitat Centre, the Natyanjali Festival in Chidambaram among others. She continues to hone her skills under well-known Chennai-based dance guru, A. Lakshman.
