Yamaha intros premium computer speakers with bluetooth and mobile device friendly features
MUMBAI: Yamaha today introduced the NX-B55 and NX-50 computer speaker systems, both of which offer exceptional sound quality, sharp-looking aesthetic design and mobile device friendly features. The speakers provide a standard stereo mini input for connecting to a computer plus a second input with an auto-mix capability, making it easy to also connect a smartphone or tablet. With the NX-B55, the second input is made wirelessly via Bluetooth while the NX-50 offers a second stereo mini input. The speakers also offer a convenient headphone jack and volume control on the front panel.
"The NX-B55 and NX-50 not only play nicely with your mobile devices, they also sound and look significantly better than your run-of-the-mill computer speakers," said Bob Goedken, general manager, AV Division, Yamaha Corporation of America. "They greatly enhance all of your music, games and other content with rich, clear, detailed sound."
Both models are finely tuned to create dynamic near-field listening experiences via cabinet designs that prevent internal sound loss and deliver impressive frequency response with computers and mobile devices. Front-facing bass ports push sound straight into the room to deliver surprising low-end response from speakers of this size. The automatic loudness control adjusts bass output to precisely match the volume at all times.
The NX-B55 and NX-50 both have an energy-saving auto standby mode that activates after periods of inactivity. In this mode, the speakers automatically power on again when sound is detected.
These attractive desktop speakers have a solid build with sturdy, modern-looking metal grilles on their front panels
