Shipra Goyal working on a few Punjabi singles

MUMBAI: After the success of the song ‘Tute Bole Wedding De’ from ‘Welcome Back’, songstress Shipra Goyal has her hands full. The singer revealed that she is currently working on a few singles in the Punjabi music industry, and is also contemplating to work on a Hindi single.

“I am contemplating working on something that is originally mine, which is why I am working on a few Punjabi singles. I have also collaborated with a few artists for the same, but I do not wish to give out details and steal their thunder,” said Goyal.

She recently released the single ‘Yadaan Teriyaan’, which is her interpretation of the original duet from the film ‘Hero’. The music of the single is composed by Arjuna Harjai, who has also offered backing vocals for the track.

“For a long time now I have been receiving a lot of requests from my fans to come up with something that featured me, which is why I spoke to T-Series. They agreed to do it and it took us a day to shoot the video,” said Goyal. The singer also revealed that she will be releasing the video of her popular song ‘Ishq Bulaava’ from the film ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ in October as many of her fans still like listening the song.

In addition to this, she has also rendered vocals for the song ‘Paro’ from the film ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ which is composed by Hitesh Sonik. “I got a call from Hiteshji when I was performing in Delhi at Tulsi Kumar’s wedding. It was fun recording the track as I am rapping for the first time and I am really happy that people like my song,” she explained.

Goyal also has a few upcoming film projects; however, she remained tight lipped on them.
