The Rolling Stones recording album after a decade

MUMBAI: Rock band The Rolling Stones will record their first album in 10 years.

The ‘Wild Horses’ hitmakers - Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts - have been in a studio here over the past week working on a follow-up to the 2005 record ‘A Bigger Bang’, and morale is high after Wood revealed he is going to be a father to twins at the age of 68, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“Ronnie broke the news on one of their first days back in the studio and they were all delighted for him. It’s given everyone a great boost,” The Sun newspaper quoted a source as saying.

“The guys booked in for a few sessions to lay down some tracks which Mick and Keith have written. It’s very early stuff - just four or five songs at the moment - but the plan is to make a full new album in the New Year,” the source added.
