MUMBAI: After bagging the prestigious Filmfare award at the 61st Awards ceremony in the best music category for the movie ‘Roy’, the Meet Brothers duo – Manmeet and Harmeet are highly over- whelmed. Catching the audience eye and coming into the limelight with its back-to-back hits, the doublet is in demand.

During an interaction with the ‘Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan’ composers, the duo disclosed how delighted they were to receive such an honour. When asked about the feelings and emotions that popped up in their minds while they were receiving the award, Manmeet replied, “When we won the award for ‘Chittiyan Kalaiyaan’ our emotional state was fine and we felt good about it at the awards ceremony. However, the response we received over two days after the ceremony is when we realized that the Filmfare Awards are the Indian Oscars. Everyone congratulated us. With so many friends and relatives personally calling and congratulating us is what made us realize that we indeed won a Filmfare black lady.” Adding to the details, Manmeet jokingly said, “We have not received so many texts and calls even on our birthday”.

Meet Brothers promise "a lot of music" to come in 2016, and the duo cannot wait for the fans to listen to what's in store.
