MUMBAI: Ghazal maestro Pankaj Udhas completes 35 years of his musical journey today. It has been more than three decades since the music genius elated the audience through his ghazals and poetry. To honour his journey, the singer commemorates a live concert 'Ek Ehsaas' in Mumbai.
The funds raised through the concert will be given to PATUT (Parents Association Thalassemic Unit Trust) which works towards improving the lives of those afflicted with the blood disorder.
Besides the concert, the veteran artiste has been organising a ghazal festival since the past 16-years. The festival claimed to be India's only ghazal festival, lasts for two days where the prominent ghazal musicians highlight their talents.
Apart from this, today's event will commence from 7 p.m. onwards at Nehru Centre in Mumbai. The tickets are available on Book My Show and range from Rs.450 to Rs.1250.
