MUMBAI: Singer Abhijeet, who is known for his extreme tweets, is again in the news for his demeaning posts against Karan Johar and Mahesh Bhatt for promoting artists from Pakistan in India by roping them in for Bollywood movies.
In a series of tweets on his official Twitter account, Abhijeet also asked Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj to look into the matter.

The singer further rants that Bollywood is full of 'gay' producers and directors who want more Pathan boyfriends from Pak now'. He claims that these "anti-national" filmmakers need to be taught a lesson. He goes on to call them "bigger enemies then #TerrorStatePak".
Abhijeet is known for making controversial statements. In the past, when Ghulam Ali's concert was cancelled in India, the singer had tweeted, "#GhulamGigCancelled kitni baar bhagaya bt these shameless hv no self respect no work except terrorism bt we feed them along wd prestitutes".
Last time, the singer ranted against a woman journalist, he had to face major backlash on Twitter. But considering the fact that singing offers have dried up, this seems to be another attempt by the singer to stay in the news.
