MUMBAI: Well, the man with Midas touch and the man who defines contemporary folk, Raghu Dixit is in news, yet again. The Raghu Dixit Project, currently one of India's best contemporary folk bands, is gearing up for an album. The big news is that it will be released on Saavn first and then on other portals.

The band has started work on their next album and it will be released over the next few months. An interesting fact is the songs will feature some incredible collaborations with fantastic artistes from around the world.

The first song is a collaboration with Yoel Genin, Guy Bernfeld along with several musicians from the Berklee Indian Ensemble of Berklee College of Music.

Raghu Dixit along with his band will be heading towards Boston for his most exciting live act on 5 April 2017, where he will be presenting the spirit of joy at The Red Room (Cafe 939). The band is also planning to write the new song and even do a special show on campus and create a stellar video out of the happenings.
