MUMBAI: The world is no more alien to the happenings of one and other. YouTube and social platforms have bridged the gap, but it's music that’s bringing different cultures together. India has witnessed a few international collaborations in the last few years and looks like this trend is here to stay with our very own Bollywood songstress, Neha Kakkar planning collaboration with an international artiste.

“I am in talks with an international artiste but cannot reveal the name as it is at a very early stage. Also, we are still under process song selection,” stated Kakkar.
She further added, “Whenever the collaboration happens the music will be given by my brother Tony Kakkar.”
The ‘Mile Ho Tum Humko’ released her new Punjabi single ‘Ring’ exclusively on Hungama on Thursday. The song is based on a wedding theme, a concept that excites the singer.
“I finally got an opportunity to wear Punjabi suit for the first time in my life in 'Ring'. I am very excited for the single and I also want to know my fans views on my Punjabi suit look. Would want to know if they would like to see me in suits more,” said Kakkar.
During the launch of the new track, Kakkar spent a good amount of time with the Hungama employees, sharing stories of her hit songs. She also disclosed a secret about one of her 2016 hit ‘Manali Trance’.

Furthermore, talking about YouTube views on both her Bollywood and independent music videos Kakkar stated, “Film songs have celebrity faces and also the music channels and radios prefer film songs over non-films. This is the only reason for non-film songs not being popular. But I am glad that I have a lot of ‘organic views’ for my singles and my songs have the highest views.”
