Disney announces Hannah Montana - The Big Pop Star Dream

MUMBAI: Disney Channel India has announced 'Hannah Montana - The Big Pop Star Dream' which is a search for pop star. Starting 17 May, Disney Channel will tour Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad to audition tweens across India.To participate in the Disney Channel's Hannah Montana - The Big Pop Star Dream, the participants have to perform on any Hindi movie song at an audition to be held in their city. Anushka Manchanda, star of the Viva band, will be the celebrity judge for this competition and will help select one contestant per city after reviewing the four city auditions.

Sangeet Bangla set to enter GEC space, plans 14 new shows

MUMBAI: Sangeet Bangla, the Bengali music channel under the Media Worldwide umbrella is planning to launch 14 new shows next month. Says Media Worldwide director Prashant Chothani, Sangeet Bangla is doing well and has risen to the third position among Bangla General Entertainment Channels (GECs). T-Series ties up with Channel V for Woodstock Villa

MUMBAI: White Feather Film's next, Woodstock Villa, which marks the debut of Sikander Kher, has sold its music rights to with T-Series. They have now tied up with Channel V for exclusive display of content and interviews. The film has been directed by Hansal Mehta and the music has been given by Anu Malik.T-Series President - marketing media publishing (TV) Vinod Bhanushali says, "Sikander is a hot favourite already, so the music will sell.
