MUMBAI: Actress Deepshikha Nagpal, who has ruled, both, big as well as small screen for years now, is all set to add another dimension in her multi-faceted career. She is all set to debut as a singer with the song, Kya Hua Tera Wada by DJ Sheizwood.
Speaking about the same, Deepshika said, "Honestly, it was nerve-wracking. I am always singing but singing on the mic, with a proper studio set up, is something, on another level. I am excited as it has been a lifelong dream, but I never thought, I would actually live my dream of singing and featuring in my own song. I always wanted to sing my own song, so I am happy."
DJ Sheizwood, who has composed music of the song, said, “I have known Deepshikha for years now. I was aware of her inclination for singing, but we were looking for the right song and right time to launch her as a singer. She has had a brilliant run as an actor and I am sure that the audience will love her singer side as well."
The soft and subtle start to the song gives a gist of how the entire soundtrack of Kya Hua Tera Wada would, eventually, turn out to be. The song has a lyrical flow and gathers steady momentum right through its duration, without going overboard. This number, truly, has a brilliant composition.
Produced by DSN Entertainment, the song is directed by Deepshikha herself. Featuring Deepshikha and Vikas Verma, the lyrics of the song are penned by Sameer Ranjan. The song will be produced by Saregama.
Meanwhile, Deepshikha has swayed the audience as she portrayed all her characters, with utmost finesse. In an industry that doesn’t promise a long sojourn, her unfading charms and unparalleled acting abilities, have made her a favourite of every Indian household. We, therefore, hope Deepshikha manages to charm the audience with her singing debut also.
