MUMBAI: Phat Phish Records launched a fusion of Punjabi folk-Middle Eastern fare with a touch of Sufi sound album by Da-Saaz titled "Jet Lag" on 16 May. Jet Lag is an album where Sufiana meets electro, Hindi meets Farsi, Urdu, Punjabi and Turkish sounds mingle with percussion from across the world. Da-Saz started this project with the idea of creating a bridge between different cultures and musical poles. The album's 11 tracks, most of them composed and mixed by David Scrufari, were recorded in Da-Saz's home-studio in New Delhi.
