MUMBAI: Popular singer Nikhita Gandhi whose known set a track of hit songs like Raabta, Burj khalifa, Naach Meri Rani, Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe, and Qaafirana to name a few is all set to introduce some of her independent songs this year.

Being quite pleased with her innings last year, Nikhita mentioned, “2020 has been an amazing year musically for me. I released a lot of originals, which included independent songs too. It’s something I did beyond playback. I have composed music for myself, pink Sweats and web series. It was nice to be in a creative space.”

Speaking about her recent project Tabdeeli(song from Netflix Originals- Mismatched), Nikhita shared, “’ Mismatched’ director Akarsh Khurana asked me if I could do a song in his web series and I instantly said a yes and that’s how Tabdeeli happened. I was happy and grateful to work for this project.”

For the future, she has some interesting projects lined up.

“There are big film songs in the pipeline. I am also going to be collaborating with an international artist. This year is going to be very hopeful, moreover, I feel we need to be careful human beings this year only then things will get better amid this pandemic,” summed by Nikhita.
