MUMBAI: In keeping with the young vibe and fiery spirit of the film, Ratnaa Sinha’s Middle Class Love is all set to launch their new song and it’s groovy and high on energy, something that the youth will lap up to. The film is a coming of age story set up against a college campus. Keeping this in mind and breaking away from the melodious vein of the rest of the film’s album, the new track is a rap track sung and performed by the well-known artiste Spitfire.

Titled Apna Karenge, the song is written and performed by lyricist/ rapper, Spitfire aka Nitin Mishra. Prit Kamani, the lead actor from has also sung a few lines from the song along with Spitfire. The music is scored by Prasanna Suresh, while the track is mixed and mastered by Maharshi Jani (Outfly).

Talking about it, Ratnaa Sinha says, “The song is every young persons desire. Duniya ki chor hum apna karenge. We also started like that. I come from a family of lawyers. And here I am making movies. One of the characters in the films wants to become wrapped much against the wishes of his father . And his writing is extremely soulful. Hence Nitin. Spitfire. He has correctly anointed himself. What beautifully versatile lyrics this young man can write. There are 3 songs of his in the film. And each one *written* better than the other. It gives us a sense of pride to have worked with such immense talent on this film. *It’s performed by Omkar Kulkarni on screen.* Another bright talent . I am sure the songs will be enjoyed by young and not so young both.”

Spitfire adds, “It was a delight working with Ratnaa Ma’am on the song. Apna Karenge comes from a personal space for me. In fact, the film’s theme about a young boy and his dreams is a lot like many of our stories. In some ways, it felt really personal and I am glad they trusted me with the opportunity.”

Middle Class Love stars Prit Kamani, Eisha Singh, Kavya Thapar and is directed by Ratnaa Sinha. The film is jointly produced by Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Media Works and Zee Studios. Middle Class Love is all set to release on September 16, 2022.
