Chris Janson brings Jamey Johnson on-Stage to perform Johnny Cash’s classic “Sunday Morning Coming Down”

MUMBAI :  Known to be one of the most raucous performers in Country music, Chris Janson, took the Opry stage last night for a special evening honoring the legendary Johnny Cash. During his set, the consummate rebel rouser brought out Country musician, Jamey Johnson, for a special duet of Cash’s #1 hit single, “Sunday Morning Coming Down.” A special surprise moment from the event was when Janson noticed Waylon Jennings Grandson, Whey Jennings in the crowd and asked him onstage for an unforgettable moment.

“It was a very magical night at the Opry honoring the great Johnny Cash. If it were not for Johnny Cash, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Folsom Prison was the song that got me started in Nashville, years ago at Tootsies. It was extra special to honor the Man In Black, with one of my musical brothers and long time friend, Jamey Johnson. This is what the Opry is all about, and the crowd was on FIRE! Great to see John Carter Cash and Whey Jennings, too.” - Chris Janson
