Actress Anne Hathaway set to show off vocal skills

MUMBAI: Latin guitar legend Carlos Santana is set to make his debut performance in India. He will perform live at a music fest on 26 October in Bangalore. Grammy winner Santana will play his Latin-infused rock tracks at the Vladivar Rock N India fest for the country’s music fans. Adele to sing for Bond film 'Skyfall'

MUMBAI: British pop sensation Adele has joined a line of illustrious pop singers who have sung the theme song for James Bond movies. The 24-year old singer will sing the theme for the latest 007 film- ‘Skyfall’- which she has written herself with a collaborator, reports said. According to reports, the ‘ominous and dramatic’ ballad titled ‘Let the Sky Fall’ features lyrics like ‘Let the sky fall/Let it crumble/We will stand tall/And face it all/together’.

Guidelines for waiver of spectrum fee for community radio in two weeks

NEW DELHI: The Department of Telecom has been asked to evolve detailed guidelines by 12 October to bring into force its decision to waive off spectrum fee for community radio services (CRS). Instructions to this effect have been issued by the Communications & IT Minister Kapil Sibal following requests received from National Advisory Council, Information and Broadcasting Ministry, and the Community Radio Association.

Big FM's Rabe Iyer joins Motivator as managing partner

MUMBAI:Big FM business head Rabinder Thirumurthy better known as Rabe Iyer, has joined GroupM promoted media agency Motivator as managing partner with immediate effect. Debuting on vinyl, the Fab Four's 12 UK studio albums, plus the US-originated ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ and the double-disc 1988 rarities collection ‘Past Masters Volume One & Two,’ will be issued on 180-gram vinyl individually and in a limited-edition box set.
