MUMBAI: Singer and rapper Badshah, the force behind hits like DJ Waali Babu, is stepping into a new era with the launch of his independent music label, Pentertainment 0075. This venture marks a pivotal moment in his career, designed to empower emerging talent and craft music that truly resonates with today’s generation.

“I built this platform to give emerging talent the spotlight they deserve while preserving creative freedom. We might kick off with hip-hop, but we’re open to all music genres. Unlike many labels, this is an artist-led space where creators can shape their sound and stay true to their culture,” Badshah explains.

He adds with palpable excitement, “This is a new chapter in my musical journey. I’ve always aimed to make music that’s accessible and reflective of our generation’s voice. Now, with my independent label and the support of my long-time partner Universal Music India, I’m set on creating instinct-driven, relevant, and resonant music.”

Since starting his career in 2006, Badshah has delivered numerous chart-topping tracks, including DJ Wale Babu, Mercy, Kar Gayi Chull, Paagal, and Genda Phool. Beyond music, he’s made his mark in acting—with films like Khandaani Shafakhana—and as a judge on reality shows like Dil Hai Hindustani and Indian Idol.
