MUMBAI: The headliners of the upcoming Bonnaroo Festival have been announced along with other artists. Among the headliners include, Grammy Award winners Billy Joel and Mumford & Sons joined by Grammy Award nominees Deadmau5, Kendrick Lamar and Florence + The Machine.
Other acts part of this year's fest also include BBC Introducing Award winning Welsh indie rock band Catfish & the Bottlemen, English drum and base band Rudimental, English indie rock band Glass Animals, modern soul musical collective Jungle from London, American electronic rock band AWOLNATION, American indie pop act Bleachers, Grammy Award winning blues artiste Gary Clark Jr., alternative country folk singer Brandi Carlisle, Grammy Award nominees Alabama Shakes and Hozier and Swedish chart-topper Tove Lo and many more.
Famous extreme metal band Slayer along with rising hip hop artiste Dej Loaf and rising indie pop band Belle & Sebastian are all set to perform at this year's Bonnaroo.
The Bonnaroo Festival will held in Manchester, Tennessee on 11 June through to 14 June. More than 80,000 people are expected to attend the four day music and comedy extravaganza. The former ‘The Hangover' actor Ed Helms will return to host the Bluegrass Situation SuperJam. Bonnaroo is claiming to have more than 125 musical artistes in total and more than 20 comedians from around the world.
