MUMBAI: Big FM announces an exclusive radio partnership with Love Story 2050 on 12 June. The station would feature Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja for the first time on radio. The newcomer would be aired in Big Chai hosted by RJ Archana Jani on 16 June. The stars of the movie will be answering questions quizzed by fans across the day on air. On 24 June the station would interview music director Anu Malek, which would be followed by a series of interview till 28 June. The songs of the album would be played exclusively for seven to ten days across all Big FM stations, nationally.

The agreement between EMI and BBC Worldwide suggests that each party will have access to release and broadcast recordings by EMI artists from the BBC archive. Under the deal, EMI will have the opportunity to include BBC recordings from their artists as part of DVDs, CDs and digital downloads while BBC Worldwide has the opportunity to drive revenue through international radio and TV programme sales.

With this album, McLaughlin brings a Western Jazz-Fusion approach, but with a band comprising mainly renowned Indian musicians. read moreMUMBAI: XM Satellite Radio have resolved a copyright dispute lawsuit brought by EMI Music. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) had received complaints against XM Satellite Radio in May 2006 over the Pioneer Inno- an XM receiver that allows users to record the satellite service directly to MP3 or WMA. Previously XM faced a similar situation with the other three music label biggies, with Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group reaching an agreement last December and Sony BMG settling in February. XM did not disclose the terms of the settlement.
