MUMBAI: Following the tremendous success of the first three seasons, India’s local FM network, MY FM, has launched the fourth edition of the Jiyo Dil Se Awards to recognize and acknowledge the work of the common man in bringing about a positive difference to the society. The campaign has been rolled out in MY FM markets and has got a tremendous response from across by sending in huge number of entries. There are nine categories: Education, Environment Conservation, Health & Sanitation, Public Service, Culture & Art, Sports, Women’s Welfare & Empowerment, Child Care & Development and Economic Development under which people can send entries.
E&Y is process partner and official tabulator for the awards since the year of inception. The individuals applying for the award will be judged on various parameters like innovation in their initiatives, the impact they created, scalability and sustainability of the initiative and the challenges faced while executing the initiative. This initiative will be coupled with a nationwide multimedia campaign, with the impact of the MY FM brand property resonating across radio, print and online
Speaking on the initiative, My FM CEO Harrish M Bhatia said “Jiyo Dil Se Awards is an attempt to identify & recognize the indomitable spirit of common man towards the betterment of society. The initiative took shape in 2012 and is moving forward in its fourth year. In the last three years, 56 winners rose to fame and became role models for our society. Today, into its fourth year, the initiative is yet to celebrate some more of the outstanding citizens in our society. Every year we aim to honour individuals who stand apart from the crowd and become a source of inspiration for the whole nation. After three very successful seasons, the Jiyo Dil Se Awards Season IV is back.”
MY FM have done a 360 degree approach to promote Jiyo Dil Se Awards using print, radio, outdoors, collaterals, and digital media to reach out to these people.
To apply for the award, people can log on to the MY FM website and download the form. The forms along with supporting documents will have to be sent to the MY FM offices in the respective cities in hard copy.
The last date for receiving the entries is 23 December, 2015. The selected top entries in each category will be put for public voting and jury and listeners votes will determine the winners.
