MUMBAI: Week 5 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India, all India (U + R) data, saw a drastic turn of events with B4U Music replacing Mastiii from its number one spot with 96937 (‘000s). The two channels had been running neck-to-neck for a long time now.
Thus, Mastiii got pushed to the second position with 95740 (‘000s) from 116419 (‘000s) in BARC week 4. This happens to be a huge dip for the channel. Sony MIX retained the third position with 88415 (‘000s). 9XM and 9XJalwa too managed to retain their fourth and fifth positions with 60934 (‘000s) and 54879 (‘000s) respectively.
Among the other channels, Zee ETC Bollywood replaced Bindass Play from its sixth place with 36378 (‘000s) from 25533 (‘000s) in the last week. Bindass Play got the seventh place with 35665 (‘000s). Music Xpress maintained the eighth position with 4412 (‘000s).
