Lady Antebellum's Need You Now is Record and Song of the year at 53rd Grammy Awards

MUMBAI: The Oscars of the Music world, The Grammy Awards, announced the winners for 2010 at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards, its main event, at the Staples Centre in LA, in a live show with top performers like Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, huge winner and country music star Lady Antebellum and Usher, amongst others.

Record of the Year went to country music singer Lady Antebellum for 'Need You Now'. Her song �Need You Now' also won Song of the Year.

Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire won Album Of The Year for 'The Suburbs'

Esperanza Spalding pipped teen favourite Justin Bieber for Best New Artist, while Lady Gaga bagged the Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for 'Bad Romance'. Lady Gaga also won the Best Pop Vocal Album for �The Fame Monster'.

Bruno Mars won the Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for 'Just The Way You Are', while the award for the Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance went to Paul McCartney's 'Helter Skelter'. Neil Young bagged the Best Rock Song award for 'Angry World'. Rapper Eminem's �Not Afraid' got him the Best Rap Solo Performance award. Usher, for �There Goes My Baby' bagged the Best Male R'n'B Vocal Performance, and Fantasia took the Best Female R'n'B Vocal Performance for �Bittersweet'.
