MUMBAI: With its constant endeavor to provide listeners with fresh and appealing content, BIG FM is all set to launch 'BIG Heroes' - A show that will celebrate the true spirit of the ordinary man for his contribution towards the society. It aims to highlight the efforts of unsung heroes who combined their desire and belief to bring about a change. Method actors, Manoj Bajpai, Jimmy Shergill who have themselves portrayed characters inspired from real life incidents and actor Vishal Singh, support the show’s much celebrated theme that reflects the real life stories of true ‘BIG Heroes’ of the nation. The show to launch its 1st episode on 7th May with RJ Richa Anirudh will air as a morning show from 9 am - 10 am, every Saturday in 35 markets of the radio network.

‘BIG Heroes’ as the name suggests will take listeners through the unheard and inspiring stories of the common man; ones who went out of their way to help individuals, communities and regions. It is their selfless act through which they raised a voice to bring around a noticeable change rather than asking for it. The show revolves around the true incidents of the ordinary men and women from various fields like health, education, welfare, sports and environment who has bestowed upon them the title of ‘BIG Heroes’ by fighting all odds to make their voices heard and become the change makers of the society. By delving deeper into their lives, their passion and determination, the show aims to reflect the enduring spirit in the minds of its listeners and inspire them.

Richa Anirudh is a popular television host and a Radio Jockey. She hosts the award winning breakfast show called ‘Dilli Meri Jaan’ on Big FM’s Delhi station discussing the vibe and issues of the city of Delhi every morning with authorities, experts and the listeners. Richa hosted the much awarded television talk show ‘Zingadi Live’ on the television news channel IBN7. She has been a news anchor and journalist with organizations like Zee News and Doordarshan.
