No major disruptions; Big FM and Radio City continue dominance

MUMBAI: Top performing radio stations welcomed the month of June holding their positions firmly and continuing the consistent display of dominance in respective cities. In Mumbai, Big FM topped the chart with 17.5 per cent of shares and the T.S.L. of 5.59. Big FM has been the most impressive performer of the week, with a top position in Mumbai, and securing second position in Bengaluru and Kolkata with 19.1 per cent and 15.9 per cent of shares respectively. However, the station has still not managed to extend the impressive performance in Delhi, where it sits low on the sixth position with a little over 8 per cent of shares.

Delhi had a familiar face once again on the summit as Fever FM retained the position, thanks to the 18.2 per cent of shares and 5.22 T.S.L. rating. Fever FM finished the week at the fourth position in Bengaluru and Mumbai, while securing third position in Kolkata with the shares of 15.1 per cent and 5.36 T.S.L. rating. The station finished two places below the top performer Radio Mirchi that gained 19.6 per cent of shares and T.S.L. of 4.34. The station ended the week on the second position in Delhi (shares – 13.4 per cent, T.S.L. – 3.47), third position in Mumbai (shares – 14.1 per cent, T.S.L. – 4.35) and Bengaluru (shares - 17.5 per cent, T.S.L. – 7.45).

Bengaluru did not witness any changes to the last week’s positions as Radio City retained the top position with an impressive 22.2 per cent and T.S.L. of 9.29. Red FM finished on fifth position in all the cities. Radio Nasha continues to evolve, but the retro station has, so far, failed to break into top three of Mumbai and Delhi.
