MUMBAI: 9X Jalwa is commemorating the birth anniversary of RD Burman with power packed programming initiatives. The music channel has been airing series of special RD Burman centric music blocks and vignettes from the award winning documentary of RD Burman by Brahmanand Singh.

The week-long programming titled ‘Full RD’ began on 22 June 2016. The special segment showcases songs and special segments of RD Burman with the legendary singers, lyricist and RD himself.

Furthermore, specials of RD with other singing legends such as Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle, Gulzar and Kishore Kumar too are being played across the channel along with the vignettes. 9X Jalwa has also been airing Info graphics highlighting the career of RD Burman.

‘Full RD’ will continue airing between 7-8am, 10-11pm and 3-4pm till 27 June 2016.
