MUMBAI: Mirchi Chandigarh has announced the winners of the competition 'Love at First Flight' launched for the couples of Chandigarh , soon after Chandigarh started international flights to Sharjah and Dubai.

Radio Mirchi designed a concept  to celebrate same with the public of the 'tricity' (Chandigarh-Mohali-Panchkula) in which the station decided to send two couples to Sharjah and Dubai on an all paid expenses by Mirchi and Paul Merchants, the company that had partnered the radio station for the competition.

This three nights and four days trip will start from 26 September 2016 in which the winners Chirag and Preety will go to Dubai and Ritika-Umang will enjoy the ambience of Sharjah. Both winners have been selected on the basis of the on-air contest conducted by Mirchi Chandigarh.

Chirag who is a pilot said, "I never thought of such surprises in my life. It is like gifting something special to my wife. I am very thankful to Mirchi."

Ritika, who is going to Sharjah with her husband said, "Being an IT professional this gift from Mirchi is like an extra cheese on toast for us, my office people are not so happy because after all, I am going to Sharjah that too on expenses paid by someone else."

To facilitate these winners, Punjabi star Ammy Virk specially came to Mirchi Chandigarh studio. He said, "Once driving down to Chandigarh I heard this contest on Mirchi, at that time I thought this may be a prank, but today after giving away the tickets to winners my all doubts has been sorted."

During facilitating ceremony of winners from Mirchi Chandigarh, Bhanu Pratap (Cluster Head), Nitin Gupta (Cluster Programming Head), RJ Kanwar and Tavneet (Producer, Chandigarh) were present along with winners and Ammy Virk.
