Mirchi Amritsar lauds M S Dhoni; begins activity based on 'Helicopter Shot'

MUMBAI: As the much-awaited film 'M.S. Dhoni- The Untold Story' based on the real life of one of the most loved cricketers Mahendra Singh Dhoni is set to release, Radio Mirchi (Amritsar) has a special activity doing rounds around the same.

The special campaign is based on the famous 'Helicopter Shot' of Dhoni, which changed his entire life. The helicopter shot has never been in the cricket books but when Dhoni invented it, it became a rage. And now when the biography of Indian cricket legend is releasing soon, Mirchi Amritsar has decided to honor its invention in a unique way by dedicating a series to his signature shot, 'Helicopter'.

The name of the activity is 'Helicopter Shot - Woh Shot Jisne Aapki Life Badaldi' (One moment/ incident which changed your life forever).

In this activity, 15 celebs from the Bollywood and Pollywood industries shared incidents, moments, the name of people who changed their life forever. Simultaneously, the radio station has also asked listeners to share Helicopter shot from their own lives too as a part of the activity.

Radio Mirchi Amritsar programming head Pervez Bhateja says, "Everybody wants to take credit for the success of a successful person. But when a star directly shares to whom they dedicate their success to, then only people come to know the true story behind their victories. Helicopter shot series will tell listeners real success story of their Super Stars."

Happy Raikoti, Nav Inder, Kaur B, Abhijeet Sawant, Anita Devgan, Navi Kamboj, Binnu Dhillon, Navraj Hans, Arya Babbar, Guggu Gill, Harish Verma, Jaswinder Bhalla, Sachin Ahuja and many more artistes are lined up to share their 'Helicopter Shot moment'.

The activity is commencing today on 22 September and will go on until 30 September.
