Big FM is the exclusive radio partner of 'Paddy Fields' by Nesco

MUMBAI: Big FM a radio network that has always been open to experimenting with unique collaborations has this time come on board as the exclusive radio partner for ‘Paddy Fields’ by Nesco - India’s first Folk and Fusion Music festival. Listeners of Big FM will get an exclusive first hand preview of the festival, ahead of the on-ground event slated to happen at Bombay Exhibition Centre on 15 and 16 October 2016 in Mumbai.

Speaking about the association, NESCO GM - events & exhibitions Shikha Kulkarni said, “At Nesco, we believe in ‘enriching people’s lives’ and we hope to do this at Paddy Fields. Through the inaugural festival we will take revelers on a musical journey of traditional Indian folk sounds and rhythmic fusion beats. Paddy Fields has an exciting line-up including The Colonial Cousins, Mame Khan, Gangadhar-Tulika, Papon, Chaar Yaar, Dhruv Voyage, The Nooran Sisters, and Salim-Sulaiman, who will provide an eclectic mix of sounds at the two-day folk and fusion extravaganza. Ahead of the festival, these artists will perform unplugged versions of songs which would be a part of their respective lineups at Paddy Fields, in addition to unplugged renditions of retro Bollywood songs on Big FM.

Big FM listeners and music lovers will be treated with special unplugged renditions during the radio network’s Breakfast and Evening Drive time shows in Mumbai. A Nesco initiative, curated by Turnkey Music & Publishing Pvt Ltd and produced by Oranjuice Entertainment, a Fountainhead MKTG brand, Paddy Fields will be held on the 15 and 16 October 2016, 5 pm onwards.
