MUMBAI: Week 45 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), all India (U+R) witnessed addition of five new music channels – Zoom, VH1, Channel V, Music India and 9XO.
Zoom made its entry in the seventh place with 29112 (‘000s). Channel V and Music India entered the eleventh and twelfth position with 15047 (‘000s) and 13433(‘000s) respectively. VH1 and 9XO made it to the bottom of the chart with 2757 (‘000s) and 1517 (‘000s).
Furthermore, the chart leader Mastiii continued to rule with slight dip in numbers from 138291(‘000s) to 120745 (‘000s). B4U Music, Sony MIX, 9XM and 9X Jalwa maintained their second, third, fourth and fifth positions (check the chart below for impressions).
MTV Beats that entered the charts in Week 43 maintained its grip in the sixth position, but there was no sight of MTV Beasts HD. The other channels shifted a spot lower than their previous positions with Zoom entering the seventh place.
Amongst other channel MTunes HD shifted two spots lower with Channel V replacing it and Music India claim the twelfth spot.
