MUMBAI: Last week Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), all India (U+R) witnessed accumulation of five new music channels – Zoom, VH1, Channel V, Music India and 9XO.
In week 46 of BARC India, Mastiii topped the charts with 128827 (‘000s). B4U Music dropped in numbers from 84237 (‘000s) to 84237 (‘000s), but it stayed in the second position.
Sony Mix remained in the third position with increased numbers from 71068 (‘000s) to 72539 (‘000s), 9XM also increased its numbers from 65708 ('000s) to 68142 ('000s) and held the fourth position. 9X Jalwa stayed in the fifth place with 52384 (‘000s).
MTV Beats that entered the charts in week 43 maintained the sixth position. Zoom stayed in the seventh and Zee ETC Bollywood went on to beat Bindass Play in the eighth and ninth positions respectively.
MTunes SD, Channel V and Music India finished week 46 in the same positions as last week. Amongst other channels MTunes HD and VH1 got thirteenth and fourteenth positions. 9XO stayed at the bottom of the chart.
