Blender enters Indian music magazine space
MUMBAI: Media Transasia has launched music magazine Blender in India, marking the title's first venture outside of the US. Blender, the music magazine is targeted at the young modern urban Indians or the 'now' generation.
The magazine will showcase a combination of popular international and local indigenous music, as well as lifestyle trends. It was woven out of a technology-inspired shift as more people are exposed to so many different mediums and are using internet, mobile, television and print, all at the same time. "Bringing a brand like Blender to India from the US is a great thrill and honour to all of us at Media Transasia India. Knowing the history and success of US Blender, I am confident that Indian consumers will embrace the magazine,Blender is also a natural extension to our men's lifestyle portfolio and also shows Media Transasia's desire for growth and confidence in the men's sector in India," Blender India's Editorial Director, Simon Clays said in a report.
