MUMBAI: The latest to join the community radio bandwagon is Kolkata's Jadavpur University.

Radio JU 90.8 will go on air on the Bengali New Year day on 14 April 2008.Director of School of Media Communication Nilanjana Gupta says, "The station would have slots for schoolchildren, physically challenged persons and youths."

Renowned percussionist Bikram Ghosh has composed the one minute signature tune of the station consisting of both classical and folk music.
