Radio NRI stations made available on Apple iPhone 3G

MUMBAI: Listeners can download free AOL Radio player to enjoy Indian radio on the go on the new Apple iPhone 3G.

Radio NRI, a service of NRI Media, Inc, has announced that two of its live radio channels have been made available to listeners on the new Apple iPhone 3G.

Listeners can enjoy "Bollywood & Beyond" and "Bollywood Classic Hits" by downloading the free AOL Radio player from the Apple iPhone App store, says a company release. The AOL Radio player provides the same experience on the iPhone as listeners enjoy on their personal computers.

Slotted as the radio channel for the new global desi, Radio NRI - Bollywood & Beyond will have English-speaking RJs deliver music, news, and celebrity interviews from all across India. Weekly Top 40 music countdowns for Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, the daily Inbox request show, and fresh entertainment news will be the staple of Radio NRI.Radio NRI claims to be a provider of high-quality radio programming for the 30 million strong Asian Indian diaspora. Radio NRI's channels are available via Internet on AOL Radio, Apple iTunes radio, and at RadioNRI.com. Radio NRI live channels are also available to listeners with Sprint or AT&T music phones at m.tuner2.com and to Apple iPhone in the free AOL Radio player. Each week, Radio NRI claims to reach about 300,000 homes across North America with its broadcast show syndication.
