MUMBAI: In its zest to provide innovative and user-friendly content, ArtistAloud has come up with yet another musical property titled ‘New This Week’.

Artist Aloud associate VP Soumini Sridhara Paul revealed about the property when she visited Radioandmusic.com’s (RnM) office as a special ‘Guest Editor' on 4 August. Paul revealed that the property would provide music aficionados an opportunity to know more about their favourite artistes like Lesle Lewis, Shaimak Davar and Shweta Pandit amongst others. It is sponsored by Intel and will run for 36 episodes, commencing from today.

‘New This Week’ is a 30 minute webisode that will feature artistes who will talk about their music, latest releases and inside story. It will also showcase live `unplugged performances’ by them.

‘Intel presents New This Week’ will launch with Lesle Lewis, followed by Daboo Malik (13 Aug), Shaimak Davar (20 Aug), Shweta Pandit (27 Aug), Sonu Kakkar(3 Sept) and Akhil Sachdeva’s Nasha (Sufi Rock) (10 Sept). It will be streamed on the portal every Monday at 4 pm.

ArtistAloud has to its credit properties like TGIRF (Thank God its Rock On Friday!), 24 Hours of Fame, WebCerts, First 1s and the recently launched ‘RockStock’ in partnership with Hard Rock Café amongst others. It also hosts ‘ArtistAloud Awards’ to encourage and applaud the best of independent music.
