MUMBAI: Red FM gave its listeners a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience one of the most awaited and exciting matches of the DLF IPL season. Over the past week Red FM has been giving listeners the chance to win tickets to watch the Mumbai Indians play on Friday the 16th of May.

The station also organized a huge cheering squad, the Mumbai Indian Paltan, to cheer the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium. Red FM took a procession atop an open air Double Decker Bus, to the Wankhede Stadium, similar to the victory run of the Indian Team after the T20 World Cup, to cheer for the Mumbai Indians on the eve of their crucial match with the Kolkata Knight Riders.

On the eve of their first match, Red FM had turned to Blue FM for a whole day to show their support, and on Friday the 16th of May the Mumbai Indians Paltan went across Mumbai and cheered the team during their ride to Wankhede stadium to watch the match.
