Red FM's Mumbai Indian Paltan cheers for the Mumbai Indians

MUMBAI: Red FM gave its listeners a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience one of the most awaited and exciting matches of the DLF IPL season. Over the past week Red FM has been giving listeners the chance to win tickets to watch the Mumbai Indians play on Friday the 16th of May.

The station also organized a huge cheering squad, the Mumbai Indian Paltan, to cheer the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium. Red FM took a procession atop an open air Double Decker Bus, to the Wankhede Stadium, similar to the victory run of the Indian Team after the T20 World Cup, to cheer for the Mumbai Indians on the eve of their crucial match with the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Commenting on this initiative, Anuj Singh, National Marketing Head and Station Head (Mumbai), Red FM, said, "This was a very crucial match for the Mumbai Indians and we wanted to be there for them in full support. Red FM decided to organize this massive cheering squad and open air bus procession to congratulate them on their wins so far and to cheer them for their upcoming match. Cricket being one of the main pillars of Red FM's programming, we have left no stone unturned in making this season exciting and entertaining for our listeners!"

Red FM, Mumbai's No.1 radio station is the Radio Partner for Mumbai's team the Mumbai Indians and has left no stone unturned in supporting the home team over the past month. On the eve of their first match, Red FM had turned to Blue FM for a whole day to show their support, and on Friday the 16th of May the Mumbai Indians Paltan went across Mumbai and cheered the team during their ride to Wankhede stadium to watch the match. Joining the lucky winners on this ride of a lifetime were all the star RJs of Red FM including RJ Malishka, RJ Mantra, RJ Anuraag Pandey, etc. who were also joined by the rest of the crew of Red FM
