'Go Goa Gone' music launches with Zombies

MUMBAI: Time to groove on the music of zombie-comedy film 'Go Goa Gone' that released on 18 April. The fun affair music event was attended by the cast and crew of the film and some zombies.

Sachin and Jigar have composed for the five track music album rendered by Priya Panchal and written by  Amitabh Bhattacharya. The music album is under Sony Music.

Present at the occasion were Saif Ali Khan,  Kunal Khemu, and Puja Gupta along with the director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, music directors Sachin-Jigar, lyricist and singer Priya Panchal and the producers Dinesh Vijan and Sunil Lulla .

Music directors Sachin-Jigar, singer Panchal and ‘zombies’ performed live but the highlight of the evening was the jam session of Khemu, Sachin- Jigar, Nidimoru & DK on Babaji ki Booti.

Director Krishna DK said, “All the tracks of the album have something different to offer. We have a Monday anthem - ‘Khooni Monday’ which is about Monday blues. Then ‘BabaJi Ki Booti’ that has been sung by actors, music directors and us. We have a Boris lingo song, ‘I Keel Ded Peepul’ featured on Saif also. We have an eclectic mix in the album and we are happy with all the positive feedback we are getting. Music is the hero of the film and Sachin-Jigar have given their best.” The tracks are aligned with the story of the film.

Director Nidimoru said, “We got a good team with Sachin-Jigar who put down this crazy album and we would love to work with them in the future too.”

Music has always been a very integral part of Hindi cinema and to make an out of the box film and not have the right kind of music can be quite a clincher.

The film starring Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, Vir Das, Anand Tiwari and Puja Gupta is slated to release on 10 May.
