The Friday episode will have viewers in absolute glee as they watch an audio visual of all the spats between the two judges Abhijeet and Alka Yagnik in the previous episodes. But, what really gets one in splits is when Alka hands over a gift to Abhijeet for including two of their duet songs in his choice of songs selected for the kids.

On opening the box, Abhijeet slumps down on his seat shocked at the contents in it. He pulls it out to reveal a wig and sportingly puts it on. Alka comments that each episode she comes in different hairstyles and she wanted Abhijeet also to have some hair to cover his receding hairline. That they share a healthy respect for each other is visible despite all the disagreements they voice on the show.

Shaan calls it the `frightful Fridays` and each kid performs knowing that one error in rendition can have them out of the contest.

Abhijeet and Shraddha open the show with song "Suno na suno na" and Shaan welcomes the three judges and introduces the theme of Abhijeet`s choice of songs. An audio visual of the kids visiting Abhijeet`s house to get their songs and be trained by him is shown and each kid gives their impressions of Abhijeet before they sing the song.

Abhrokanti sang "Aankhen bhi hoti hai dil ki zubaan" a bit nervously but managed to get the feel right. Sanchita sang "Roshni se bhare bhare" very well and showed that all along she has been very consistent in her performances. Diwakar sang the hit song "Lamha lamha doori"and had Bappi Lahiri remark, "Your voice will sound very good in the studio"

Armaan sang "Tum dil ki dhadkan mein" but failed to impress judges like in previous episodes. He broke down but brightened up hearing the many words of encouragement from the judges being the youngest singer in the group. Pawni sang "Tum aaye toh" and went wrong in the notes. She was asked to practise more. Sameer had everyone swaying singing "Tan tana tan tan tara" and gave an enjoyable performance.

At the end it was Diwakar and Armaan who faced the uncertainity of being eliminated, based on their performances. Abhijeet requests the parents and the kids to control their emotions when the result is announced saying that it was the most difficult thing to do as all the kids were dear to them.

Alka announces that Armaan is out and wishing him luck wants him back when he is older to win the contest. A sensitive child, Armaan ends the show singing `Papa kehte hain..` and dedicating it to his father.

"The competition is getting tougher as the weeks pass and it is clearly the day`s performance that counts. We take utmost care that the feelings of these young children are not hurt when they are eliminated and go all out to make them more confident and better singers," says director Gajendrra Siingh.
