With Alka Yagnik celebrating 25 years as a playback singer, the theme on the Friday episode was aptly `Alka`s hits`. An episode that starts of well but, turns ugly once the name of the eliminated participant is announced.

Gurpreet Kaur sang `Ankhiyan Milau` but focussed more on her performance rather than her singing. This was noticed by all three judges and they decided that from among all the performances that day, Gurpreet will be eliminated.

All hell breaks loose once this is announced as Gurpreet`s mother takes umbrage and comes on to the stage fuming away. Her main contention was that there was no way Gurpreet could be out as she has consistently managed to win the judges approval in the earlier weeks.

The scene got out of hand when she challenges the results and demanded to see them. The judges tries calming her with reason that as tough the decision was, it was just not her day. Gurpeet gets agitated with all the commotion and starts crying.

It was after a lot of pacifying that Gurpreet`s mother had no choice but to accept the verdict. Calm returned on the sets, though all seemed very rattled by the outburst.

Director Gajendrra Siingh said, "Every week as one kid is eliminated, we try to make it easy for the kids and more so for the parents. Being young, they are dependent on their parents and it is unfortunate when such an incident happens."

Bappi Lahiri says, "It is very heart breaking for us. But, you`ll are just kids and have many years ahead to improve your craft."

"I am very sad as she is my most favourite and that she had to be out during my special episode. I am sure that in the next few years, I am going to hear her name in this industry," says Alka Yagnik. Adding to Gurpreet that, "You can come to me for any help at any point of time. I am always there for you."

Other than this high drama, it was a fun episode with Shaan sharing titbits of information about Alka Yagnik with the viewers. The first song she first playbacked was for the film named `Hamari bahu Alka`. Abhijeet continued to pull Alka`s leg and made fun of her wherever her achievements were shared by Shaan. Even, Bappi Lahiri started teasing Alka and joined in the fun.

The show also airs an audio visual about the kids visiting Alka`s house. And, another one has all the kids talk of their experience with Alka as the judge.
