MUMBAI: Music and radio are a best combination amongst all. Fever FM has been following this by not only inviting musicians and lyricists as guest on the show but also having them as an RJ.

Fever FM recently launched a new show named Café Irshad with the famous Bollywood lyricist and poet Irshad Kamil. Much known in the Bollywood music space, the lyricist has penned songs for movies like Jab Harry Met Sejal, Love Aaj Kal, Highway, Tamasha and more.

On the show, Kamil will also be featured with his new band named ‘The Ink Band’. The show will see him featuring his own writings as well as performances by The Ink Band. The one hour weekend show from 8-9 pm every Friday will take the listeners through his life, his poetry, his music and his love for words.

It is great to know that the musical maestro AR Rahman is also supporting the lyricist and his band. Rahman took the first song by the band to his social media.
