Lesle Lewis to launch new talent with Rock-stars Academy
MUMBAI: Lesle Lewis of the Colonial Cousins duo is set to launch five new talents in the music industry with his own music compositions.
For this purpose, Lewis has launched the Rock-stars Academy, an institution for youngsters who believe in music and want to make it big in the musical world. "Today with cut-throat competition all around, singing is no more about passion, it is about hardcore money. The Lesle Lewis Rock-stars Academy is a great opportunity for youngsters who wish to be a singer to work with top people in the industry as we have engaged the best lyricists and talks with music companies are on. Coming from my academy, it is sure that you get a hearing at the record companies" quips Lewis."Every artist who wants to become a popstar today has to fund for himself. I will be composing music designed specially to suit the singers' voice, hiding the weak points and highlighting the plus points, so the artist sounds as polished as he can. Packages at the Lesle Lewis Rock-stars Academy are available at a price of Rs four million (Rs 40 lakh) and above depending on the needs of the artiste. "It would be a complete package right from the makeover of the artists to making audio and videos and even advertising slots on TV and radio. Lewis ensures rockstar status for the selected artistes at the end of eight months.
Lesle Lewis who worked wonders with singers like Suneeta Rao, KK, Alisha Chinoy, Band of Boys and Asha Bhosale in the past is also working on the next Colonial Cousins album with partner Hariharan.
